Article 1 – Purpose

These terms and conditions govern online sales by the company Chic and Modesty, a simplified joint-stock company (SASU) registered at 1 rue des Vosges, 78180 Montigny-le-Bretonneux, France, under company number 894 151 687 (R.C.S. Versailles) and VAT number FR1894151687, operating the website www.chicandmodesty.com for the online sale of ready-to-wear clothing.

Article 2 – Prices

All product prices are shown in euros, including VAT and all applicable taxes on the date of the order, unless otherwise stated. Shipping and handling fees are not included.

If you place an order from outside mainland France, you are considered the importer of the product(s). Customs duties or local taxes may apply and are entirely your responsibility. Please check with your local authorities for details before ordering.

All orders are payable in euros. Chic and Modesty reserves the right to modify prices at any time, but products will be billed at the rate in effect when the order is confirmed and subject to availability.

Products remain the property of Chic and Modesty until full payment has been received. Once you physically receive the products, all risk of loss or damage transfers to you.

Article 3 – Orders

You may place an order directly on our website: www.chicandmodesty.com.

Contractual information is presented in French and confirmed at the time of order validation.
Chic and Modesty reserves the right to refuse an order or payment for any reason, including supply issues or irregularities in the order.

Article 4 – Order Confirmation

Placing an order on our website implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
All data recorded during the order process constitutes proof of the transaction.

Order confirmation serves as a signature and implies full acceptance.
A PDF summary of your order and these terms will be sent by email.

Article 5 – Payment

By confirming your order, you agree to pay the total amount due.

Payment methods:

  • Credit card via the secure PayPlug system

  • Bank transfer (IBAN: FR76 1695 8000 0191 6376 7727 808 – BIC: QNTOFRP1XXX)

  • Bank check payable to Chic and Modesty, sent to 1 rue des Vosges, 78180 Montigny-le-Bretonneux

Orders are processed after payment confirmation.

Article 6 – Withdrawal (Returns)

In accordance with French consumer law, you have 14 days from receipt of your order to withdraw without giving any reason or paying penalties.

Returned products must be unused (except for fitting) and in their original condition with tags attached.
Returns are free within 7 working days (except during sales/promotions); after that, return shipping costs are your responsibility.

Refunds are issued within 14 days after we receive your request, using the same payment method.

Exceptions:
Returns are not accepted for products unsealed after delivery for hygiene reasons or for items that cannot be separated from others after use.

Article 7 – Availability

Products are available while shown on the website and while stocks last.
In case of unavailability, you will be informed by email and refunded.

Article 8 – Delivery

Products are shipped to the delivery address provided at checkout.
Delays will be communicated by email.
In case of delivery delay, you may cancel your order as provided by French law.

If a parcel is not collected from a pickup point within the time limit, it will be returned to Chic and Modesty. The order will be refunded, minus shipping costs if delivery was initially free.

Article 9 – Warranty

All products are covered by the legal warranty of conformity and hidden defects under French Civil Code.
Claims for exchange or refund must be made online at www.chicandmodesty.com within 15 days of delivery.

Article 10 – Liability

Products comply with French law.
Chic and Modesty is not responsible if the product does not meet foreign regulations.
The buyer must verify import conditions before ordering.
The company is not liable for damages resulting from misuse or for disruptions caused by the Internet.

Article 11 – Applicable Law

These terms are governed by French law.
In case of dispute, only French courts have jurisdiction.

Article 12 – Personal Data

Chic and Modesty collects and processes personal data for order management and customer service.
Data may be shared with third parties involved in order processing.
You have the right to access, modify, or delete your data directly on our website.

Article 13 – Records and Proof

Order forms and invoices are securely archived.
Digital records are considered valid proof of communication, payments, and transactions.
